Instructions for using Street's General Formula No. 209®

Apply General Formula No. 209   directly to stain, and work with spotting brush using tamping action. Follow by rinsing thoroughly with water.      

IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFORMATION:

When using this valuable product, experienced spotters keep in mind these important facts:

No. 209 is safest to color and fibers when used straight and cold.

No. 209 does contain acid.

No. 209 becomes more active on stains when water is added, but it also becomes more active on fugitive dyes.

No. 209 becomes more active on stains when heated or when used with steam gun, but again it automatically becomes more active on fugitive dyes, and if heated too much becomes active on acetate fibers.
