Naperville, IL (April 20, 2011)– R.R. Street & Co. Inc. is excited to announce a two new products designed specifically for the needs of GreenEarth® ( decamethylcyclopentasiloxane; “D5”) cleaners.  

GreenSPOT™ is a no-flush pretreatment that is effective on a large array of water soluble, solvent soluble and combination stains. GreenSOL™ is a concentrated detergent formulated to provide excellent soil removal and soil suspension, control free moisture, and reduce static and lint. Both products are designed to work together to enhance cleaning performance and productivity while at the same time as reducing labor.

GreenSPOT is designed as a no-flush pretreatment: simply treat the clothes and clean them in your machine without flushing on the board; GreenSPOT gets rinsed out in the machine without harming your system. GreenSPOT has been designed as a companion product to GreenSOL Detergent for GreenEarth, providing you with extra stain removal power to target stains like cosmetics, foods and cuff and collar grime. “Solvair Cleaning System Honored by Illinois Governor and the University of Illinois Sustainable Technology Center “

Naperville, IL- Solvair LLC has been awarded a 2010 Illinois Governor’s Sustainability Award for its Solvair Cleaning System technology. This award recognizes the innovative research, business practices and initiatives that have been the cornerstones of Solvair LLC and its 134 year old sister company, R. R. Street & Co. Inc. in serving the dry cleaning industry.

The Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC), the longest existing organization of its type in the U.S., held its 27^th Annual Award Ceremony in Champaign on October 28^th. The Solvair technology was selected for this prestigious award based on a thorough evaluation of Solvair’s overall system design and environmentally responsible features by the ISTC and the Governor’s Office.

In a congratulatory letter to Solvair, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn stated “Your organization’s commendable green practices serve as a model of environmental stewardship for residents, businesses, and institutions throughout our State.”  According to the ISTC, organizations are honored for their significant achievements in protecting the environment, helping sustain the future, and improving the economy.

A record number of companies were considered for the 2010 award, according to ISTC Director, Manohar Kulkarni, who presented the 2010 Governor’s Sustainability Award to recipients, stating, "These businesses and organizations have shown that it is possible to create and maintain conditions under which people and the environment can exist in productive harmony, and fulfill the social and economic requirements of present and future generations.”

L. Ross Beard, Chief Executive Officer of Solvair LLC and R. R. Street & Co. R.R. Street & Co. Inc. (Street’s) Announces MultiSPOT™  a “next generation” Eco-Conscious Combination Wet-Dry Spotter

Naperville, IL – June 12th, 2010 –Stains can be water-soluble (wet), solvent-soluble (dry), or both. PYRATEX^® LV Oily-Type Dry-Side Stain Remover

New PYRATEX^® LV is designed for effective dry-side stain removal. Formulated to take on heavy-duty stains, PYRATEX^® LV can handle paint, oil, and grease stains (POGs), and even lipstick and cosmetics. The low volatile organic compound (VOC) formula contains no halogenated ingredients and is virtually odorless.

PYRATEX^® LV has special soil suspension properties that help remove heavy dry-side stains and prevent stains like cosmetics, shoe polish, and others that contain dye, from spreading.
